Rassamee Kahrs manages the development and implementation of facilitator training, provides guidance on study protocol procedures relating to the provision of therapeutic support for research participants engaged in the lab’s studies, and supports the review and development of study documents. As a study facilitator, Rassamee provides psychoeducational and direct therapeutic support to research participants involved in the lab’s psychedelic and consciousness studies.
Rassamee has received training in psychedelic-assisted therapies through the Naropa University Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies Certificate, MAPS MDMA-Assisted Therapy Training, PRATI Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Training, and is completing a 3-year intensive Psychedelic Therapy Training through AWE.
Previously, Rassamee worked as a psychotherapist in private practice and at the Harmonia Madison Center for Psychotherapy. She has also served as the Clinical Therapeutic Specialist at the Usona Institute, where she supported the development of study documents and facilitation training for their psilocybin and 5-MeO-DMT clinical trials.
Rassamee holds a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin, and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Environmental Studies and Asian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
